In A Different Light

Photography is a passion of mine. I believe that to be a good photographer one must ultimately trust his eye and follow his instincts.
My eye – and the link it creates between my brain and my emotions – is what shapes my photographs. I have to allow myself to be moved by what I see and then go with the feel of it.
Through the years, I have learned that I must also be willing to take a few risks …… by trying new techniques and ideas, or by re-trying old techniques. I have learned to listen to that pesky little voice inside my head that keeps saying “Hey, wouldn’t it be interesting if…” It’s usually right! To do this requires that I not be afraid of being “wrong.” Only by taking risks …… like listening to the pesky little voice, will I continue to push the limits of my creativity.
